This video might be a little basic for some, but it covers some very good information about how to think about your prompting and what you should focus on. (This video came out over 6 months ago, which is ages in AI terms, for it to still give good advice at this stage I think makes it worth including)
There are a lot of interesting nuggets in this presentation. I think its amazing how wide spread some of the concepts have become that he talks about. Back when I first watched this video, I was fascinated by how they were using and thinking about Claude Code internally. Now, so many of these things have become standard practice. I think one commenter on the video had the right idea “Quiet in the Back! I’m trying to listen to the Oracle”
There were other videos available from this same conference. However, they are either soooo outdated or the information is soooo wide spread now that I felt they were not worth including. Unfortunately, since this conference took place, Anthropic has not posted super useful videos to their channel (in my opinion at least). They are more like advertisements now rather than thought leadership for users.
HOWEVER, I do think their more podcast or talks type of videos are great for business minded folks. I think they can help them understand a little bit better about these tools. (But I dont personally see them as valuable to developers)
